There’s reason to believe that we may be seeing Arctic Monkeys back on the tour bus very soon. If that information already has you excited, Live Arena has a little speed dating session for you. Arctic Monkeys fan, meet Next Concert. Next Concert is an expert in all things music events. Let us introduce you properly.
As any big music fan knows: when there’s an album, there’s a tour. In September 2017, Arctic Monkeys bassist Nick O’Malley confirmed “AM6”, as fans are calling it, for a 2018 release. The quartet have been confirmed as headliners for the US Firefly Music Festival marking their first confirmed live appearance in four years. They have also been rumoured to be headlining the second night of this year’s epic Mad Cool festival in Madrid which has us thinking that tour dates may be just around the corner.
In support of their fifth album, Arctic Monkeys embarked on an epic 150-date worldwide tour in May 2013. The Sheffield-born band took their five-record back catalogue on the road visiting five continents over seventeen months.
Just to remind you how epic their “AM Tour” was, it featured:
- 150 dates in total, 57 European dates
- 10 UK concert dates and 6 UK festival appearances
- Saturated primary ticket platforms (endless online queues, websites crashing)
- Tickets selling out instantly and being sold for up to £240 on the black market
I’m not mentally prepared to face the stress of trying to get Arctic Monkeys tickets tbh. Just know for a fact I’ll have been selecting pictures of lampposts for 10 mins then it’ll say “sorry no tickets available” 😣😣

After a total of 16 appearances in the UK for their previous tour, it’s very likely that the band will be seeking to replicate their home turf success this time around.
So if you’re feeling up to the challenge of attempting to get your tickets yourself, we wish you the very best of luck. Brace yourself for the obstacle course of your life.
