Self Esteem adds concerts in Sheffield, Manchester and London
You missed the bell again? It’s ok, because MORE IS COMING. The first set of extra dates announced by Self Esteem at the end of August wasn’t enough apparently, because the artist just announced another set of three concerts! After all her shows are over, she will perform once more in Sheffield at The O2 Academy on March 21, once more at Manchester’s Albert Hall on March 22 and once more at London’s Eventim Apollo on March 23.
“Can’t quite believe I’m typing this but due to popular demand popping off we’ve added a third Hammersmith, a third Manchester and an extra Sheffield.” Self Esteem stated on her social media.
The tickets are going on sale on Friday, October 14 at 10 AM! Don’t miss out. And if you’re afraid you might, ask Alex to fetch your tickets for you! Pick out your concert here, sign up and let Alex handle your booking. We’ll get your tickets first hand on Friday and will send them right to you!
Self Esteem to support her 2021 album
The artist’s UK and Ireland tour, is in support of her Mercury Prize-nominated album Prioritise Pleasure, which arrived in 2021. The tour is her biggest headline yet. The album includes the track ‘Fucking Wizardry’ whose video you can watch below. “It’s a song about trusting and believing in what you already know. If it feels like someone is taking the piss, they usually are.” said the artist about the track.
On September 8, Self Esteem helped donate food from the 2022 Mercury Prize ceremony, which was cancelled due to the Queen passing away. The artist, who was nominated on the night for her second Self Esteem album Prioritise Pleasure, urged organisers to “DONATE THE FUCKING FOOD”.
