Paramore: come-back announced with new single This Is Why due on September 28

Paramore are back. Well, not right now, but by the end of the month. They announced a new track that they’ll drop in a little less than two weeks. Alex has the details.

Paramore: first music in five years

Twitter, Discord, TikTok, Paramore took to all their social media channels to announce they had new music on the way. Their upcoming single is their first in five years and will arrive on September 22, 2022. The band also shared the artwork for the single. It shows members Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro pressing their face against a window covered with condensation. You can see the artwork below.

The new track is called ‘This Is Why’ and you can presave it here. This new track may well be the preview of a new album for Paramore. Their last record was After Laughter in 2017. Since then, the band has been touring, but without releasing any new music. Lead singer Hayley Williams yet released solo albums.

Paramore are touring in North America this fall, get tickets!

Paramore are set to embark on a North American headline tour on October 2, which includes two newly-announced shows in LA. The stint will offer fans “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Paramore in a range of intimate venues”. The act will notably perform in Chicago, Cincinnati and Toronto over the course of the tour.
