Embrace: one-off concert at Piece Hall on July 1, 2023

Embrace came together back in 1990 and released their debut album The Good Will Out in 1998. The album was a hit and put the band on the British musical landscape for good. The album will turn 25 next year and the band felt like saying thanks you to their fans, their inspiration and their album by scheduling a special concert in Halifax.

The show will take place on July 1, 2023 at Piece Hall. For now, the band has not announced any other date for 2023 but more should come. Embrace wrapped up a UK tour that aimed to support their latest album two months ago, but surely they’ve got plans for 2023 already!

The tickets to this unique show are going on sale on November 25, with a presale starting the previous day, on November 24. See Alex about your tickets. Sign up right now for the concert and pre-book your passes. We’ll secure them on Friday as soon as the sale opens, and we’ll send them to you!

Embrace just released an eighth album!

The band’s first studio record is turning 25 alright, but the band also dropped its new little brother in August 2022. The latest record How To Be a Person Like Other People album was produced and mixed at North Studios in Halifax, West Yorkshire, the very town in which they’ll celebrate The Good Will Out‘s anniversary next year! How To Be a Person Like Other People has been previewed by the single ‘We Are It’. You can watch the music video below.

“Whenever we put out a new album it’s always a really big deal to us, we put everything we have into it,” explained Embrace frontman and producer Richard McNamara. “We know that there’s something about what we do that people love, that they just don’t get from others bands. It’s like a pact, they want us to be intimate and personal and autobiographical, but they also want us to be confident and rousing and anthemic.” He added: “It sounds like a contradiction, but I think when we’re at our best we somehow pull it off. I think in that sense this album is the most Embrace album we’ve ever made.”
