Recently, several news sites published the rankings of the most lucrative tours of 2017. Guns N’Roses and Coldplay are at the top of the rankings.
$99 million dollars
Guns N’Roses are probably one of the most popular rock bands in the world, and once again the band members have proven it. Reuniting in April 2016 for a big worldwide tour called, “Not in this Lifetime”, they have filled stadiums all over the world. In second place, we find Coldplay. Their “A Head Full of Dreams” tour ranks just behind Guns N’Roses with $86,8m (£66m) in revenue from 16 concerts. Third place is taken by Justin Bieber with $63,5m (£48,4m) for his 28 concerts. Unfortunately, the Canadian singer won’t be earning any more from his tour: he just announced that he won’t be continuing his tour.
The only woman in the rankings is Stevie Nicks coming in at 10th with $35,5m (£27m) for 40 concerts.
