To mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Courteeners have announced two huge London and Manchester concerts in March and April.
“St. Jude Re:Wired”
Courteeners will be making their Royal Albert Hall headline debut in aid of the fantastic Teenage Cancer Trust on 23rd March, a week before Kasabian take to the same stage. Having previously performed at the prestigious venue supporting Noel Gallagher back in 2010, they will be returning to celebrate the 10th birthday of their debut album, “St. Jude”, which they will play for the first, and last time in its entirety. Liam Fray and co. will also be playing Manchester Arena on 7th April.
A newly recorded version of the album will be released on 6th April under the titled “St. Jude Re:Wired”. Frontman Liam Fray said his recent solo tour had motivated him to revisit some older tracks and most notable, “St. Jude”.
We were looking for a way to mark the 10 year anniversary of the release of St. Jude. We thought it might be worth at least raising a little glass to celebrate the fact that we’re still here.
Tickets for both dates go on sale this Friday.
