Britney is back. Yep, we said it. If that information already has you excited, Live Arena has a little speed dating session for you. Britney Spears fan, meet Next Concert. Next Concert is an expert in all things music events. Let us introduce you properly.
Having finished her Las Vegas residency, the pop icon has already been confirmed for a European music festival this Summer and one of her songwriters Justin Tranter dropped some major hints at the Golden Globes recently suggesting that there’s a new Britney album in the works for this year. As any music fiend knows: where there’s an album, there’s a tour which means we’re expecting other European and UK concert dates very soon.
Britney Spears released her ninth album “Glory” in August 2016 and after being Las Vegas’ hottest ticket for four years, she’s expected to go back on the road this year. Having been confirmed as a headliner for Denmark’s Smukfest this August, the singer affirmed there would be additional European shows on her 2018 agenda.
The last time Britney went on a world tour was in 2011 with her seventh album, “Femme Fatale”. Spears herself called the tour, “the best show of her career” and it was the highest grossing tour of 2011.
Just to remind you how epic Britney’s “The Femme Fatale Tour” of 2011 was, it featured:
- 79 shows in total, 26 in Europe
- 7 UK dates in 5 cities
- Saturated primary ticket platforms (endless online queues, websites crashing)
- Tickets being sold for up to £350 on the black market and ticket resale platforms
- 697,957 fans’ dreams came true and thousands missed out due to ticketing frustrations
So if you’re feeling up to the challenge of trying to get your tickets yourself, we wish you the very best of luck. If, on the other hand, you’d rather not play with fire and not miss out on seeing Britney live, we’ve got a plan so that you don’t end up spending hours hunched over your computer crying after you empty your bank account onto ticket resale platforms only to find your tickets are for two seats in the back row, behind a column. Check out our partner site Next Concert to secure your concert tickets and sit back and relax as they take care of the whole booking process for you. It’s really as simple as that.
